Forty years ago today Neil Armstrong and "Buzz" Aldrin first set foot on the moon and ushered in a new era of human space exploration. Last week NASA's Lunar Reconaissance Orbiter photographed, in excellent resolution, the landing sites of the Apollo 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17 missions.
Here's hoping we go back, and go farther!
